The incident happened Saturday, Jan. 25 at approximately 6:20 p.m. in Islandia. An 18-year-old Bay Shore man was driving a 1998 Nissan Pathfinder westbound on Motor Parkway between Hoffman Lane and Veterans Memorial Highway when the vehicle became disabled in the roadway, Suffolk County Police said. A 57-year-old Bay Shore man, now identified as Federico Oviedo, who was driving a 2003 Toyota minivan, stopped behind the Nissan to offer assistance.&…
