ID Released For Man Found Shot Dead At Nassau County Intersection The identity has been released for a man who was found shot dead at a Long Island intersection. Police officers responded to a report of shots fired in Hempstead near the intersection of Peninsula Boulevard and Sewell Street at about 11 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 30, according to the Nassau County Police Department. Upon arrival, officers located a 49-year-old man laying on the ground. The male victim suffered from apparent gunshot wounds. Suspect Nabbed For 2018 Shooting Death Of Long Island Man, Police Say A 37-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a 2018 murder of a Long Island resident. Suffolk County Police, assisted by the US Marshals and the NYPD Warrant Squad, arrested Ade Ngaii, age 37, of Manhattan, on Thursday, June 24, for killing a man in North Patchogue on Friday, Nov. 2, 2018. According to detectives, Kristopher Appell, age 30, was found dead after officers responded to his home for a report of an injured and unconscious man. When officers arrived, they found Appell dead from gunshot wounds. Ngaii has been charged with second-degree murder.

The incident took place around 10:45 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30, in Baldwin, said the Nassau County Police.
