Woman Accused Of Assaulting Victim, Injuring Officer While Resisting Arrest In Syosset A 24-year-old woman is facing assault charges after police said she attacked another woman while trespassing on her Long Island property and then injured a responding officer. Karla Velasquez, of Roosevelt, was arrested for an incident that happened in Syosset at 2:20 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, according to the Nassau County Police Department.
