A man has been arrested in connection to over a dozen thefts across Long Island, police announced.
Marvin O Morejon Flores, age 35, was arrested on Wednesday, April 17, according to Nassau County Police.
On multiple occasions Morejon Flores, who is from Hempstead, stole from parking meters along Roslyn Road and Jericho Turnpike, an investigation claimed.
He reportedly gave police false information; after he was arrested for the alleged larcenies, police found he had warrants out for his arrest for violating probation and criminal possession of a controlled substance.

A Brooklyn man was caught and arrested for attempting to scam a Long Island woman out of tens of thousands of dollars, police said.
It happened on Monday, April 1 in Mineola, according to Nassau County Police.

Freeport resident Alexandria Sobrane, age 46, was arraigned on Tuesday, March 18 for her alleged Social Security fraud, the Nassau County District Attorney announced.

Richard Bopp, age 45, of Malverne, faced his charges on Thursday, Feb. 8, the Nassau County District Attorney announced.
