Long Island Man Hit By SUV After Being Thrown From Motorcycle In Crash With Car
A 55-year-old Long Island man was seriously injured after being thrown from his motorcycle in a crash with a car before being hit by an SUV. It happened at around 8:50 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29 in Lake Ronkonkoma, Suffolk County Police. The man, who lives in East Patchogue, was operating a 1993 Harley Davidson eastbound on Portion Road, near Foster Road, when the motorcycle collided with a westbound 2009 Hyundai Elantra driven by William Symons, 61, of Ronkonkoma.
