Man With Head Injuries Found Dead On Side Of Long Island Road A 39-year-old man with head injuries described as extensive was found dead by a passing motorist at a busy intersection in Suffolk County overnight, police said. The discovery was made in Patchogue on the side of Rider Avenue, near Edwards Street, at approximately 10:20 p.m. Saturday, June 15, Suffolk Police said.  The man, who has been identified as Clarence Wyche, 39, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner.
