Luke was born on August 14, 1949 in Edgewater, NJ, and raised in Franklin Square, Long Island and Croton-on-Hudson, NY. At Hendrick Hudson High School, Luke performed in several musicals and plays including “Oklahoma” and “Anastasia” and was cast as Buffalo Bill in “Annie Get Your Gun.” His passion for theater continued at Harpur College, Binghamton University where he majored in Cinema Arts. Wrong-Way LIE Driver Was High On Drugs, Suffolk Police Say Suffolk County Police arrested a man for driving while ability impaired by drugs after he drove the wrong way on the Long Island Expressway. Highway Patrol officers responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a car traveling westbound on the eastbound side of the Long Island Expressway near Exit 70 at approximately 12:15 a.m., according to Suffolk County Police. When officers arrived they reportedly observed a 2017 Lincoln sedan traveling the wrong way and initiated a traffic stop between Exit 68 and Exit 69, said the police report.
