Burglar Swipes Over $1K From East Hills CVS, Suspect At Large Police are searching for a man who they say stole thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from a Long Island CVS. It happened on Sunday, March 24 in East Hills. According to Nassau County Police, a man walked into the CVS at 421 Glen Cove Road just after 8:45 p.m. and headed into the employee stock room. Once he was in, he began taking assorted merchandise worth approximately $1,600 in total and fled the scene. On Thursday, Sept. 7, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., the Exit 29A ramp from the westbound Northern State Parkway to the westbound LIE will be closed, according to the New York State Department of Transportation. Nassau Man Killed After BMW Crashes Into Building, Bursts Into Flames A Long Island man was killed in a fiery single-vehicle crash overnight. It happened on Saturday, April 4 at about 6:30 p.m. in Greenvale. Nassau County Police officers responded to a radio assignment of a vehicle into a building at 1 Bryant Ave.  Upon arrival, they discovered a 2018 BMW engulfed in flames. Glenwood Fire Department responded to the scene to extinguish the fire. The driver of the vehicle, Andrew Daniels, 49, of East Hills, was pronounced dead at the scene by a Nassau County Medic.
