Fire crews were called at around 8:45 a.m. Friday, Nov. 4, with reports of a Roosevelt home engulfed in flames on East Raymond Avenue near Nassau Road. Police Officers Use New Tool To Help Extinguish Nassau County House Fire Police officers used a new tool to help extinguish a fire that broke out in a Long Island home. The fire occurred just after 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1. According to Nassau County Police, units responded to a residence in Seaford on Rutherford Drive for a house fire.  Upon arrival, they noticed smoke coming out of the windows.
