On Wednesday, Oct. 11, Nassau County Police arrested the following men as part of its “Project 21” initiative: Mohamad Hasan, age 62 of Elmhurst; Edward Coughlin, age 39 of Seaford; Tony Torres Navarro, age 42 of Locust Valley; and Vikram V. Ki Tat Leung, of Flushing, Queens, was arrested and charged with DWI following the crash that happened in Brentwood at about midnight on Saturday, Dec. 17, the Suffolk County Police Department reported. SCPD said Leung was driving a 2009 BMW west on the LIE near Exit 53 when he crashed into the rear passenger side of a 2020 Honda. Frank Herlihy, age 77, of Bayville, was last seen at around 8:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, on Creek Ridge Road in Bayville, according to Nassau County Police. The incident took place in Glen Cove around 9 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 6 on Dosoris Lane. According to Lt. A Nassau County Police Helicopter was canvassing an area in Jericho at about 11:10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 6, when Lance Lee, of Bayville, pointed a green laser pointer at the aircraft, according to the Nassau County Police Department. Nassau County resident Neil Newman, age 68, of Bayville, was reported missing on Monday, June 6. Newman was last seen leaving his group home on Bayville Avenue, according to the Nassau County Police. He was located on Tuesday, June 7, police said. The incident was reported to Nassau County Police on Saturday, April 11 at around 4:50 a.m. According to detectives, the 38-year-old man and his dog were in Bayville near Ferry Beach in the vicinity of Sound Beach Avenue and Bayville Avenue.  Second Precinct Police and a Nassau County Police Medic responded and pronounced the newborn dead.  The investigation is continuing.
