Woodbury Man Charged With Assault Of Police Officers In Plainview, Cops Say
A Long Island man has been charged for allegedly causing multiple injuries to police officers attempting to arrest him following a crash. Terrance Clifford, age 32, of Woodbury, was arrested on Thursday, March 2 in Plainview. According to Nassau County detectives, Clifford was traveling northbound on Manetto Hill Road, driving a 2016 Toyota sedan. At the intersection of Old Country Road, he struck a 2018 Mazda SUV being driven by a 37-year-old woman, forcing the vehicle to collide with a 2021 Dodge Ram being operated by a 34-year-old man.
