19-Year-Old In Critical Condition After Being Struck By Tree Limb In Nassau County A 19-year-old who works for a tree removal company was hospitalized in critical condition after he was struck by a falling tree limb on Long Island. The incident happened in Roosevelt at about 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 12, the Nassau County Police Department reported. NCPD said the workers were cutting elevated limbs and branches when a limb struck the man on the top of his head.
