Police Seek Suspects In Armed Robbery Of Mother, Daughter On Long Island

Police are searching for two men who allegedly robbed a mother and her daughter at gunpoint on Long Island.

The victims were accosted in front of a home on Heckscher Avenue in Bay Shore at around 8:40 p.m. Friday, June 3, according to Suffolk County Police.

One of the men held a handgun to the younger woman’s neck while the second suspect pushed the mother to the ground, police said.

They then stole a victim’s backpack before fleeing in a dark-colored sedan, according to police.

Investigators released a sketch of the man who held the gun to the woman’s neck. He is described as a Black male approximately 6-feet tall with a medium build, medium complexion, and pock-marked cheeks.

Anyone with information leading to an arrest in the case could be eligible for a cash reward from Suffolk County Crime Stoppers.
