Four men allegedly assaulted an employee at a Long Island restaurant, hospitalizing him and a woman who attempted to intervene, police said.
An alert has been issued by Suffolk County Crime Stoppers as they seek the public’s assistance in locating four men who allegedly assaulted two people at Denny’s last year.
It is alleged that the four men attacked an employee at Denny’s on Middle Country Road at approximately 4 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 8, after being involved in a verbal altercation that turned physical.
According to police, a female customer attempted to intervene, and she was also allegedly assaulted. Both she and the Denny’s employee were transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers has offered a cash reward for information that leads to the arrest of the suspects. Anyone with information regarding the alleged assault, or who recognizes the suspects has been asked to contact Suffolk County Police investigators by calling 1-800-220-TIPS or submitting a tip online.
