Longtime Chaplain To Hillcrest Fire Department Dies Richard Mordechai Silverbeg of Spring Valley a member of the Hillcrest Fire Company for 58 years and chaplain to the department, died on Sunday, July 13. He was 82.  Silverberg was born in Nyack in October 1933. WWII Memorabilia Stolen In Clarkstown Center Break-In NEW CITY, N.Y. - Several World War II memorabilia items that were donated to an exhibit were stolen from the Street Community Center in New City over the holiday weekend.
