Schenectady Felon Admits To Illegally Possessing Gun While Livestreaming A Capital District man is facing years behind bars after admitting to illegally possessing a loaded gun while live-streaming on social media. Thomas Hendricks Jr., age 40, of Schenectady, pleaded guilty Tuesday, May 3, to illegally possessing the loaded pistol as a felon, the US Attorney’s Office said. Federal prosecutors said he admitted to brandishing the 9mm semi-automatic pistol during a live stream session on his Facebook account in June 2021. Man Sentenced For Bringing Gun To Albany International Airport A Capital Region man is heading to federal prison for attempting to bring a loaded handgun onto a plane at Albany International Airport. Josef Jarvis, age 32, of Albany, was sentenced to nearly four years behind bars Thursday, April 28, after pleading guilty to illegally carrying a firearm as a felon. Federal prosecutors said Jarvis admitted to possessing the loaded gun and ammunition while attempting to pass through a security checkpoint before boarding a flight in August 2021.
