Fatal Rollover Crash: Woman ID'd As Victim On I-87 In Capital Region
A woman has been identified as the victim of a fatal one-car rollover crash in the region.
It happened around 6:40 p.m. Friday, April 19, in Greene County, in the village of Catskill, on I-87.
A preliminary investigation at the scene determined that a 2004 Ford Escape was traveling northbound in the passing lane between Exit 20 (Saugerties) and Exit 21 (Catskill), when, for an unknown reason, it exited the roadway, went through the guide rail, struck an earth embankment, and overturned, New York State Police said.

Man From Region Accused Of Murdering Woman, Dismembering Her Body, Police Say
A man from the region has been charged with allegedly killing a woman and then dismembering her body before disposing of the parts.
Ulster County resident Damon Foy, age 50, of Kerhonkson, was arraigned in Ulster County Court on Friday, April 19, for a murder charge and remanded to Ulster County Jail without bail.
According to the Ulster County Sheriff's Office, between Sunday, March 31, and Monday, April 1, Foy murdered Alberta Dale, age 44, of Pennsylvania, dismembered her and was in the process of disposing of her body when law enforcement intervened.

Thousands Of Dollars Seized After Drug House Shut Down In Capital Region
A convicted felon is back behind bars after police in the region allegedly seized numerous illegal drugs and weapons from his home.
Columbia County resident Anthony Servider, age 50, of the Town of Greenport, was arrested Thursday, March 28, following a search of his Joslen Boulevard residence.
Inside, officers found more than 250 grams of ecstasy, over 132 grams of ketamine, and more than 16 grams of MDA, according to New York State Police, which partnered with the Hudson Police Department on the case.

Tabitha King, 41, Reported Missing Out of Colonie
Police in the region are asking for help in locating a missing, vulnerable adult.
Albany County resident Tabitha King, age 41, of Colonie, was last seen in Albany on Friday, March 29, after being dropped off for an appointment, according to Colonie Police.
King is 5-foot-1 and 170 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

West Point Cadet Dies In Drowning Accident
A West Point cadet died while on leave in what police say was an accidental incident.
Havin Morris, age 21, of Pleasanton, California, a student at West Point in Orange County in the town of Highlands, drowned on Monday, March 25, while on leave in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
“Cadet Morris was a valued member of the Corps of Cadets, committed to serving his country as an Army Officer," said West Point Superintendent Lt. Gen. Steve Gilland. "The entire West Point community offers our heartfelt condolences to the Morris family."

Miami-Bound Fentanyl Dealer Nabbed In Region, Cops Say
An alleged fentanyl dealer in the region who was headed to Miami, Florida was nabbed by drug task agents before he could leave.
Dutchess County resident Jose J. Cruz, age 22, of Beacon, was arrested early Monday, March 25 in Hyde Park by members of the Dutchess County District Attorney’s Office Drug Task Force.
According to Det. Sgt. Adam Harris of the Task Force, Cruz had been under investigation for the sale of fentanyl and other drugs in Poughkeepsie, Hyde Park, and the surrounding areas.
During the investigation, Cruz made several drug transactions with Task Force agents.

New Jersey Man, Age 20, Missing After Taking Bus To Upstate NY: Police
A 20-year-old New Jersey man is missing, last seen boarding a bus to the Adirondacks on Thursday, Feb. 29, authorities said.
Adam Ishak, of Roxbury Township, left his home at 3 a.m. and boarded a bus from New York City to Saranac Lake that left at 7 a.m., Saranac Lake police said.
The bus arrived in Saranac Lake at 2:25 p.m., police said. He left a note for his mother telling her he was going to the airport and not to worry, police said.
