Man Accused Of Brutally Beating Puppy To Death In Region
A man has been accused of brutally beating a puppy, leading to its death in the region. Police in Sullivan County arrested Miguel Colon, age 34, of the Village of Liberty, after an investigation into the death of the 4-month-old pit bull. Liberty Police Department officers began investigating after receiving a report that the puppy had been killed by an individual in the village, police said. A Capital District man is facing years behind bars after admitting to illegally possessing a loaded gun while live-streaming on social media. Thomas Hendricks Jr., age 40, of Schenectady, pleaded guilty Tuesday, May 3, to illegally possessing the loaded pistol as a felon, the US Attorney’s Office said. Federal prosecutors said he admitted to brandishing the 9mm semi-automatic pistol during a live stream session on his Facebook account in June 2021. Man Convicted Of Killing Girlfriend's Pets At Her Home In Region
A man has admitted to torturing and killing his former girlfriend’s two pets inside her Hudson Valley home. Matthew Savinovich pleaded guilty in a Putnam County Court Tuesday, April 26, to two counts of aggravated cruelty to animals, one count of torturing animals, and one count of attempted burglary. Investigators said Savinovich, a New Jersey resident from the borough of Norwood in Bergen County, admitted to killing two of the woman’s chihuahuas by slamming them against a wall in her Lake Peekskill home.
