Ridgefield's Keeler Tavern Museum Family Day A Success RIDGEFIELD, Conn. – More than 800 guests recently enjoyed the sights and sounds of Keeler Tavern Museum Family Day in Ridgefield. Attendees got to enjoy nearly 100 performers and various demonstrations and games at the June 13 event. Performers included the Milford Volunteers Ancient Fife & Drum Corps, the 5th Connecticut Regiment of Revolutionary War re-enactors, the Fred Astaire Dance Studio and the Jesse Lee Memorial United Methodist Church Clown Team.

New York State Legislators Qualify Pregnancy For ACA Coverage PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. – The state legislature has passed a resolution allowing women who become pregnant to sign up for Affordable Care Act coverage before they give birth, according to a Wall Street Journal report. ACA coverage currently allows women who give birth to sign up for coverage, but not when they become pregnant. The resolution, passed last week, awaits Gov. Andrew Cuomo's signature, and similar legislation is currently being considered in the California state legislature, the WSJ report says. Lewisboro Fireworks Postponed By Weather LEWISBORO, N.Y. – The Town of Lewisboro announced that a gloomy and wet forecast for Saturday night would delay the town's fireworks spectacular at Onatru Farm Park until Tuesday. It's the first time in 17 years the event has been delayed due to inclement weather. The schedule of events begins at 6:30 p.m. with a performance by Annie and the Natural Wonder Band, with Beatles cover band The Mystery Tour to follow at 8 p.m. Fireworks will close the night at 9:15 p.m., and there will be a $20/car fee for all attendees.
