BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Rudolph Valentino Snead, of Bridgeport, died Wednesday, June 24, from a long illness. He was 64.
Snead was born on Jan. 5, 1951, to Rosby Snead and Stella Smith. He attended Bridgeport Public Schools and worked at various odd jobs.
He was predeceased by his parents, a brother, Marvin Mendenhall, and a son, Rudolph Jr.

NORWALK, Conn. – Arthur C. Davis, of Norwalk, died Sunday, June 28, at St. Vincent's Medical Center of diabetes. He was 83.
Davis was born on April 15, 1932, in Norwalk to Arthur Eugene Davis and Carmela (nee Vertucci) Davis Petracelli. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and worked in the sheet metal trades as a member of Local 38.
He was predeceased by his parents.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Carol Joyce McCarthy Roda, a longtime resident of Fairfield, died Sunday, June 28. She was 72.
Roda was raised in Norwalk and resided in Fairfield for 44 years. She graduated from Norwalk High School and worked as an administrative assistant for Brooks Community Newspaper until retiring.
