Yonkers Schools Announce Monday Early Dismissal YONKERS, N.Y. – Yonkers Schools will be dismissed early Monday because of the storm expected to dump up to three feet of snow on the area. Morning pre-kindergarten through eighth grade will be dismissed early, the district announced. There will be no afternoon pre-kindergarten. Schools that normally dismiss at 2:15 p.m. will dismiss at 1:30 p.m. Schools that normally dismiss at 3:15 p.m. will dismiss at 2:30 p.m. High School students taking afternoon Regents exams must arrive at 11 a.m., which is a change in time. Currently, the Department has 58 TASER X26 models issued to Emergency Services Unit personnel and Patrol Sergeants. The woman, who was walking her dog at the time, was struck on East Hartsdale Avenue.
