Grab A Cold One With First Can Release At Ridgefield's Nod Hill Brewery RIDGEFIELD, Conn. — A Ridgefield brewery that just opened at the end of October is ready to release its first cans beginning Dec. 19. Nod Hill Brewery will be canning a limited run of two beers that have been the most popular since the 10-barrel brewery opened in October. First up are Geobunny, a 6.5% ABV India Pale Ale brewed with Citra and Eureka hops, and Super Mantis, an 8.7% ABV double IPA with Citra and Galaxy hops. Both will be offered in 16-ounce cans. Westport Police: Man Who Drove Into House Faces Drunken Driving Charge WESTPORT, Conn. — A Westport man was charged with drunken driving when he drove into the front of a home and attempted to flee, police said. Officers called to the home around 10:15 p.m. Dec. 12 found the vehicle up against the front steps of the house, police said. The driver, Danny Oliva, 22, of Hales Court, had trouble standing and officers detected the odor of alcohol on his breath, police said.
