Flooded Cars, Fallen Trees And More: Heavy Storms Pummel Hunterdon County’s Highways (Photos) From flooded cars to fallen trees, downed wires and more, Wednesday night’s heavy storms pummeled Hunterdon County’s roads and highways, causing continued closures into Thursday. The following roads in Readington Township remained closed as of Thursday morning due to either fallen trees, flood damage or blockage from disabled cars: Route 22 East and West near Van Horne Road Dreahook Road between Johnson and Dogwood Pleasant Run Road Old York Road near Forest Hill Drive Motorists are urged to use caution driving, as there is still a “significant amount” of debris in the roads, Readington …
