A Volkswagen driver was airlifted in a crash on Route 80 westbound in Warren County Wednesday morning, state police said.
The driver of a Volkswagen sedan crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer near milepost 2 in Knowlton Township just after 10 a.m., NJSP Trooper Lawrence Peele told Daily Voice.
The Volkswagen driver was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, while the tractor-trailer driver was uninjured, Peele said.
The westbound lanes were shut down following the crash, which remained under investigation, Peele said.
