All lanes are closed after a car crash on Route 80 westbound near Exit 30 by Howard Boulevard in Mount Arlington on Friday, Feb. 16, 511nj reports. Drivers are being forced to use the shoulder due to the lane closures, according to 511nj. The travel time from Exit 34 in Wharton to Exit 30 on I-80 is 10 to 15 minutes, as of press time, according to 511nj.

Fiery Tractor-Trailer Crash Hospitalizes Driver, Closes Rt. 80 Near Warren County State Forest
A fiery tractor-trailer crash shut down Route 80 westbound near the parking area of a state forest in Warren County Thursday morning, authorities said. The tractor-trailer ran off the right side of the highway and across the ramp to Dunnfield Creek in Hardwick Township before hitting several trees and catching fire, NJSP Trooper Charles Marchan told Daily Voice. The driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Marchan said. A man was pronounced dead after a crash on Route 80 westbound caused his SUV to go up in flames Monday night, state police confirmed. The man was behind the wheel of a Nissan Pathfinder when he ran off the left side of the highway and struck a tree near milepost 41.5 in Parsippany just before 9:10 p.m., NJSP Lt. Jeff Flynn told Daily Voice. The vehicle became fully engulfed in flames following the crash, and the man was pronounced dead at the scene, Flynn said. State Police: Volkswagen Driver Airlifted In Route 80 Crash With Tractor-Trailer
A Volkswagen driver was airlifted in a crash on Route 80 westbound in Warren County Wednesday morning, state police said. The driver of a Volkswagen sedan crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer near milepost 2 in Knowlton Township just after 10 a.m., NJSP Trooper Lawrence Peele told Daily Voice. The Volkswagen driver was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries, while the tractor-trailer driver was uninjured, Peele said. The westbound lanes were shut down following the crash, which remained under investigation, Peele said.

One Dead In Route 80 Rollover Crash
