A 2011 Nissan Rogue, a 2015 Mazda CX-5, and a 2011 Chrysler 300 collided at Summit Avenue and Spring Valley Road around 11 a.m., Capt. Joseph Sanfilippo told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

The 32-year-old Mazda driver from Montvale and his passenger, a 36-year-old Washington State woman, both complained of neck pain and were taken to The Valley Hospital for treatment, Sanfilippo said.

The 24-year-old Nissan driver, her 6-week-old son and her 63-year-old mother — all of Chestnut Ridge, NY — were taken Valley for precautionary reasons, he said.
The 85-year-old Chrysler driver wasn’t injured, the captain said.

“The cause of the crash is being investigated, and no summonses have been issued at this time,” Sanfillipo said this afternoon. “All three vehicles sustained extensive damage and had to be towed from the scene.”
