Emelio S. Lutchmansingh was heading east in the westbound lanes, in a 2004 BMW M3, when he struck a 2020 Jeep Compass head-on at River Road around 11:15 p.m., Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said. Lutchmansingh fled the scene but was arrested nearby on foot, the prosecutor said. Pedestrian Struck, Seriously Injured On Garden State Parkway A pedestrian was hospitalized with serious injuries after being struck by a camper on the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. The Ford E350 Camper was heading south when it struck the unidentified pedestrian walking in the roadway at milepost 145.2 in Irvington around 8:05 p.m. Friday, Sept. 13, New Jersey State Police Sgt. Charles Marchan said. The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital. The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available.
