Two Arrested After Driving With Stolen License Plate: Secaucus PD Two Paterson residents were arrested on Wednesday, July 24, after police spotted them driving a car with a stolen license plate in Secaucus, authorities said. At 9:33 p.m., officers located the vehicle in the area of Meadowlands Parkway and 10th Street, Secaucus police said. A traffic stop was initiated and police arrested Erykah Harmon, 26, and charged her with receiving stolen property, police said. Harmon also had an outstanding warrant out of Newark, police said. Woman Sexually Assaulted In West New York: Prosecutor A 40-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in West New York on Saturday, July 27, authorities said. At 1:30 a.m., the woman encountered a man at Hudson Avenue and 51st Street, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. The woman said the man grabbed her by the hair and sexually assaulted her, Suarez said. The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the West New York Police Department are investigating, authorities said. Anyone with information is asked to contact 201-915-1234.

NJ Electrical Engineer Nic Fink Breaks 120-Year Record At Paris Olympics Nic Fink, a Morristown native, is an electrical engineer. Oh, and now he's an Olympic medalist. Fink, 31, won the silver medal in the men's 100m breaststroke on Sunday, July 28, missing out on the gold in a photo finish. Fink is the oldest American to be a first-time medal winner in swimming since the 1904 Olympics. And he does that all that while balancing a full-time job as an assistant project manager for an engineering firm in Atlanta, GA. Former CFO From Westfield Gets Five Years For Stealing Millions From Law Firm: AG A 61-year-old Westfield resident was sentenced on Friday, July 26, to five years in prison after he admitted to embezzling over $1.5 million from the law firm where he worked as chief financial officer, the New Jersey Attorney General's Office said. John Dunlea was the CFO at McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter, a national law firm based in Morristown, Attorney General Matthew Platkin said.
