Man Killed When Car Crashes Into Tree In Stafford Township
A Pemberton Township man died when his car crashed into a tree in Ocean County, authorities said. Stafford Township police responded to the wreck on County Route 539 near milepost 11.5 at around 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Apr. 2, the department said in a news release. Investigators said 30-year-old Gogi Jailava of Browns Mills was driving south when he lost control of his 2008 Toyota Yaris. His car left the road and hit a tree. Dawn Sanzari Charged
An Ocean County woman was accused of stealing more than $100,000 from a construction company, authorities said. Dawn Sanzari, 50, of Forked River, was arrested on Monday, Mar. 25, the Stafford Township Police Department said in a news release. She was charged with second-degree theft by deception and fraudulent use of a credit card. Stafford police received a report of a theft from a construction company on Tuesday, Feb. 27. Macko Construction reported that more than $100,000 was stolen from its business account. Sanzari was released pending a future court appearance.

Joy Ride: Man On Test Drive Takes Car To Atlantic City Casino, Police Say
A 47-year-old Ocean County man took a new car on a test drive and didn't return it, authorities said. The 2023 GMC Sierra was later discovered near the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City, according to Stafford Township police. On Saturday, Feb. 18, at about 8:15 p.m., Stafford police received a call from Barlow GMC car dealership that a car had not been returned from a morning test drive. A 22-year-old man from Ocean County has been sentenced to 10 years in New Jersey state prison for operating a drug facility, authorities said. Andrew Bradley of Lacey Township was sentenced on Friday, May 6, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. An investigation conducted by Lacey Township police's Detective Bureau between 2017 and 2020 determined that Bradley was utilizing a residence in the Forked River section of Lacey Township to store and distribute cocaine and marijuana, Billhimer said. A convicted sex offender has been arrested for photographing a child under a Costco bathroom stall, authorities said. On April 22, at 5:21 p.m., Stafford police responded to Costco Wholesale, at 219 Stafford Park Boulevard, for a report of a suspicious person. Police met with a complainant who said his 7-year-old child had been photographed by the man. An on-scene investigation revealed that the suspect had been involved in previous incidents at Costco. Police on the Jersey Shore are warning parents that ingredients found in marijuana may have been dropped into their child's Halloween trick-or-treat bag. A 24-year-old man from Ocean County has admitted to causing the death of a passenger in his car while driving drunk, authorities said. Jeydon Lowe of Barnegat pleaded guilty on Wednesday to vehicular homicide and driving while intoxicated, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. A black bear was spotted in a tree before wandering past a McDonalds in Stafford, authorities said. Police responded to reports of a bear sighted near the Manahawkin Regal Cinema at about 10:30 a.m. Friday, Stafford Township police said in a Facebook post. A 24-year-old Little Egg Harbor man was killed Wednesday night when a car he was in crashed into a tree, authorities said.
