3 Killed In Collision With School Bus In Central Jersey Three people were killed when their vehicle collided with a school bus in South Brunswick, authorities said. The driver of the car and two passengers in the vehicle died in the crash, according to New Jersey State Police fatal crash statistics, The bus driver suffered minor injuries in the crash at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31 on Route 130, South Brunswick police said. Route 13o was closed until about midnight, police said. The two students on the bus were not injured, police said.

Failed Brakes Send School Bus Carrying Students Into Edison Home: Police Two students suffered minor injuries after a school bus crashed into a home in Edison, authorities said. The brakes apparently failed on the bus carrying about 30 John Adams Middle School students at 8:06 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 18,, Police Chief Thomas Bryan said. The driver, who was not hurt, did a great job maneuvering around three other houses by crossing through a field, the chief said. No one was injured in the home on Rahway Roa which was occupied by three clearing crew workers, Bryan said. The house has been condemned, he said. "It could have been a lot worse," Bryan said.

School Bus, Car Collide At Jersey Shore Intersection A driver suffered minor injuries after colliding with a school bus on the Jersey Shore, authorities said. No one on the bus — headed to Marlboro High School — was hurt in the Friday, Feb. 10 crash, Howell police said.  The collision occurred at 7:36 a.m. at the corner of Georgia Tavern Road and West Farms Road, police said. The driver of the car was brought to a local hospital to be treated.  Marlboro High School is in the Freehold Regional High School District. The crash remains under investigation.
