13-Year-Old Shot Dead In South Jersey A 13-year-old child was fatally shot in front of a home in Salem City, authorities said. The shooter remains at large, they said. The shooting occurred at about 10:30 p.m. Thursday, March 30 on 9th Street, according to the Salem County Prosecutor's Office and Salem City Police. The teenager was unresponsive when police arrived. He was pronounced dead at Salem Medical Center, the prosecutor's office said. No arrests have been made. Anyone with information is asked to contact Inv. Philly Fugitive On US Marshals 'Top 10' List Captured After NJ Standoff: Report One of the US Marshals' "10 Most Wanted Homicide Fugitives" in Eastern Pennsylvania has been captured in South Jersey, NJ Advance Media reported. Ramonte Foster, 18, of Philadelphia, was arrested Tuesday, May 17 when a Salem City police officer spotted him outside a home on Morrison Avenue at about 7:30 p.m., the outlet said. Mark J. Austin, 30, of Brick Township, was charged Thursday with murder and weapons offenses, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. The son faces life in prison without parole if found guilty of murder-for-hire, the prosecutor said. South Jersey City Rocked By Fatal Gunfire Two men were killed and a woman injured in an early morning Salem City shooting, marking the city's ninth and tenth homicides this year. The shooting occurred just after midnight in a home on Thompson Street in Salem City, Salem Police Chief John Pelura III said in a Facebook post. Authorities have identified a suspect and are pursuing leads with the Salem County Prosecutor’s Office and New Jersey State Police, Pelura said.
