Kelvin Claudio, 35, of Rio Grande, was arrested on Friday, Feb. 23, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland announced in a news release. His arrest came after an investigation that included agents from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and U.S. Homeland Security Investigations. Pedestrian, 60, Killed In South Jersey Crash A 60-year-old pedestrian from Wildwood was killed in a crash in Cape May County, authorities said. On Wednesday, May 17, at approximately 6:40 a.m., the Middle Township Police Department responded to Fulling Mill Road (Route 654) in the Rio Grande section of Middle Township for a report of a motor vehicle accident involving a pedestrian. Investigation revealed the pedestrian was crossing Fulling Mill Road and was struck by a motor vehicle that was traveling south, police said. The woman, whose name was not released, was from Rio Grande. The jumper was found dead at 777 Harrah's Boulevard in Atlantic City, initial reports said. Motorist Hits Trees In Deadly South Jersey Crash: State Police A driver from South Jersey was killed when he lost control of his car and struck some trees, authorities said. The Tesla Model S caught fire after crossing the center line and driving off the roadway to the left in the single-car crash, according to a New Jersey State Police spokeswoman. Daniel Sincavage, 41, of Rio Grande, was driving northbound on Route 47 at milepost 27.7 in Maurice River Township at 10:42 p.m. on Thursday, May 19 when the crash occurred, she said. A 40-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries, she said. The crash remains under investigation.

These NJ ShopRite Stores Imposing Customer Limit Amid Coronavirus Spread More than two dozen New Jersey ShopRite stores have implemented customer limits in an effort to stop the spread of coronavirus. The maximum number of customers will be roughly 30 percent of the store’s regular maximum occupancy, ShopRite said in a statement. A security guard will be stationed at entrances and exits to track the number of customers coming in and out. Only one entrance per store will remain open.
