Pickup Driver Killed, Motorist Seriously Injured In South Jersey Crash: Police
A pickup truck driver was killed and a second motorist was seriously hurt in a crash in Burlington County, authorities said.
The five-vehicle crash occurred at 6:48 a.m. Tuesday near the Route 70 intersection with Spring Lake Boulevard in Pemberton Township.
William Benner Jr., 28, of Browns Mills, who was driving a Chevy TrailBlazer, was killed in the crash, Pemberton police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Royston Tape, 51, from Brick Township was taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic County with serious injuries.

Trio Arrested In Burlington County Double-Shooting
Three suspects have been arrested in connection with a double shooting last month in Burlington County, authorities said.
Todd McKinney, 19, of Trenton; Damier Smith, 20, of Pemberton Township; and Marlon Sutton, 22, of Camden, each were charged with first-degree attempted murder, first-degree conspiracy to commit attempted murder, aggravated assault and several weapons offenses, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Pemberton Township Police Chief David King.

Feds: Hudson County Pair Used Drones To Fly Steroids, Phones, More Into Fort Dix Prison
Two Hudson County men used drones to smuggle steroids, syringes, cellphones and pot into the federal correctional facility at Fort Dix, authorities charged.
Federal agents arrested Nicolo Denichilo, 38, of Jersey City, on Thursday after learning of a scheduled drop at the Lakehurst facility, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said Friday.
Also charged is Adrian Goolcharran, 35, of Union City, who initially was a fugitive and soon after was in custody.
At least seven drone deliveries of contraband were made to inmates dating back to July 2018 , the U.S. attorney said.

South Jersey Boy, 4, Dies From Self-Inflicted Gunshot, Prosecutor Says
A 4-year-old Burlington County boy died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound Friday night, authorities said.
The call came in from the the Brown Mills section of Pemberton Township, about five miles from Fort Dix, at 7:07 p.m., Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina said.
The boy was rushed to the Deborah Heart and Lung Center, where he was pronounced dead of a gunshot to the head at 8 p.m., Coffina said.
“We believe the gunshot wound was self-inflicted,” the prosecutor said, “but the circumstances of the shooting remain investigation.
