37-Year-Old Accident Victim, 'Big Mike' Severin, Father Of 2 Young Daughters Michael J. Severin of Barnegat loved hunting and the outdoors. But more than anything, his wife and two daughters were his world. Severin, 37, died Saturday in a single-car accident in Eagleswood.  He was born on Nov. 20, 1982, in Point Pleasant and grew up in Brick. He worked for Ocean County Utilities Authority in West Creek. Barnegat Man, 37, Killed In Eagleswood Crash  A 37-year-old Barnegat man was killed in an Eagleswood crash over the weekend, authorities said. Michael J. Severin was behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Geo headed westbound on Forge Road when the car veered off the right side of the county highway and overturned just before 6 p.m. Saturday, New Jersey State Police said. Severin was ejected from the car near Tanglewood Drive and pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. The cause of the crash is under investigation. No other vehicles were involved.
