Mahwah PD: Rockland Dealer, Hotel Companion Busted With Meth, More Thanks To Dangled SUV Mirror
A rear-view mirror hanging off a new SUV drew the attention of a Mahwah police detective who ended up busting a Rockland dealer and a companion with meth and an assortment of other drugs for sale at a local hotel, authorities said.
Before they were done, police had seized meth, cocaine, methadone, clonazepam, hypodermic needles and packaging materials, Police Chief Stephen Jaffe said.
Detective Christopher Fasulo had gone to the hotel near the New York State border Monday night to check out a report of a stolen vehicle, Jaffe said.

Barnegat PD: Amidst Covid-19, Police Nab Atlantic City Drug Dealers
A couple of drug dealers from Atlantic City were arrested on multiple drug charges, authorities said.
Both suspects had outstanding warrants, Barnegat police said.
Members of Barnegat's Crime Reduction Unit (CRU) arrested Jennifer Colon, 46, and Julio Colon, 52, on multiple charges after stopping their vehicle on Ravenwood Boulevard on Friday.
Police recovered methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine, methadone and marijuana, they said.
Barnegat Police Chief Keith Germain praised his CRU members for continuing to carry out their mission in the throes of a pandemic.
