192 Vets' Home Residents, 2 Nurses Died Of Covid-19: US Justice Department Probes NJ Facilities The federal government is investigating NJ veterans homes where hundreds of veterans -- as well as nurse -- reportedly died of COVID-19. Federal investigators from the U.S. Justice Department reportedly were at veterans homes in Paramus and Menlo Park in Middlesex County this week, according to the Asbury Park Press.   Menlo Park had 103 resident deaths while Paramus had 89. Covid-19: Jackson Memorial High School Student Tests Positive A Jackson Memorial High School student tested COVID-19 positive. The case was reported less than a week after the reopening of public schools for the first time in six months, according to APP.com. "There is nothing you need to do at this time," said Principal Kevin DiEugenio , who urged students to wash their hands often and practice social distancing. Parents will be informed if their child is considered a “close contact” of the student who tested positive.
