Peekskill Horse Show Celebrating 46 Years Of Entertaining Equine Lovers PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- The Rotary Club of Peekskill is holding its 46th Annual Horse Show and Country Fair on Oct. 8 and 9 at the Blue Mountain Reservation in Peekskill. Competition and attractions will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. Admission and parking are free, and the show will take place rain or shine. Old Tappan Man Tosses Beer Can Out Window Before DWI Arrest, Police Say ORANGETOWN, N.Y. -- Orangetown police have arrested a 34-year-old resident of Old Tappan, N.J., on a DWI charge, police said. Dover Road Will Close For A Week During Work DUTCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- As part of Bridge D-32 replacement work on Ridge Road over the Coopertown Brook in the Town of Dover, a section of Ridge Road, approximately 400 feet east of Cooperstown Road, will be closed for road reconstruction beginning Monday, Sept. 26, according to the Dutchess County Department of Public Works. Putnam Man Apprehended After Making Terrorist Threats, Police Say Police have arrested a 30-year-old resident of Garrison who allegedly made terroristic threats in the Hasidic village of Kiryas Joel, according to News 12.
