Car Engulfed In Flames At Kinnelon Shopping Center: FD A vehicle fire caused minor damage to a shopping center in Kinnelon on Sunday, March 17, authorities said. At 12:11 p.m., the Kinnelon Volunteer Fire Company responded to a car fire at the Stonehouse Plaza Shopping Center on Boonton Avenue, firefighters said on Facebook. The wind caused the smoke and flames from the vehicle fire to push toward the building, firefighters said. Firefighters said they extinguished the car fire despite a ruptured gas tank on the vehicle. The building sustained minor siding damage, firefighters said. A Freightliner box truck was heading southbound on Route 565 in Wantage when it was struck head-on by a northbound Ford Escape that crossed over the double-yellow lines near milepost 5.5 just after 6:25 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, NJSP Trooper Brandi Slota told DailyVoice.com. Update: Man Killed In Fiery SUV Crash On Route 80, State Police Say A man was pronounced dead after a crash on Route 80 westbound caused his SUV to go up in flames Monday night, state police confirmed. The man was behind the wheel of a Nissan Pathfinder when he ran off the left side of the highway and struck a tree near milepost 41.5 in Parsippany just before 9:10 p.m., NJSP Lt.
