Driver Hospitalized In Route 287 Wreck
A driver survived a nasty overnight crash on Route 287, authorities said. Firefighters extricated the motorist, who complained of pains in both legs after his Mazda SUV ran off the road and struck a sign and a tree on the highway's southbound side near mile marker #60 in Franklin Lakes at 1:47 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Evan Dennison, of Berryville, was driving a vehicle that struck the back of a tractor-trailer on Interstate 78 in Weisenberg Township, on Sunday, July 23, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio said.
