Mother Of 3, Lifelong Somerset County Resident Katelyn Gecik Dies After Addiction Struggle, 30 Mother of three and lifelong Somerset County resident Katelyn Frances Gecik died Jan. 4 at St. Peter’s Medical Center in Albany, NY, after struggling with addiction. She was 30. Born in New Brunswick, Gecik was known for her love of music and her kind, compassionate heart, her obituary says. She loved writing and channeled her creativity into many different art forms as well as her own sense of fashion and style. Adventurous, Kind, Loving: Joan Mary Ramaccia Formerly Of Franklin Lakes, Morristown, 94 Joan Mary Ramaccia (nee Cesaretti), formerly of Franklin Lakes,  Morristown and Naples, F.L, died on Friday, Aug. 16, in Omaha, NE at the age of 94. Joan was born on February 8, 1925, in Amsterdam, N.Y. She graduated from Union Hill High School in Union City and the McDowell School of Design in New York City, where she was employed as a dress designer before marrying her childhood sweetheart, William, on September 2, 1946.  They raised four children together: William, Clairann, Luanne and Robert.
