Students and staff at a Warren County high school will transition to fully remote classes through Dec. 11 after the region reached high-risk status, officials said Friday. The switch was made for Hackettstown High School students in grades 8 through 12 after New Jersey’s North West Region was classified at the orange level indicator for COVID-19 cases, district Superintendent David Mango said in a letter. Students and staff at Phillipsburg Schools will not return to the classroom for hybrid learning until Jan. 11, district officials said. 19: Morris County Regional District Reports 1 Case In Each High School
A Morris County regional school district will remain open with hybrid learning in place after two COVID-19 cases were reported. One case each was reported at Morris Knolls High School and Morris Hills High School, and are not connected, according to a letter sent by Morris hills Regional Superintendent James Jencarelli Friday night. Four new COVID-19 cases were reported this week in a single Bergen County school district. A letter sent to Ramsey parents Monday said schools will remain open despite three cases at Hubbard Elementary School and one was from Eric Smith Middle School, NorthJersey.com reports. A technical glitch forced middle schoolers in one Monmouth County school district to remote learning only next week, education officials said.
