A Morris County man was found with more than 1,000 photos and videos of child sexual abuse, authorities said.
Jeff A. Fernandez, 25, of Boonton, was charged with second-degree child endangerment for possession of child sexual abuse materials, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll said in a joint release on Friday, August 18.
Investigators — tipped off by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) — say Fernandez was found with an electronic device with more than 1,000 photo and video files “depicting the sexual exploitation or abuse of minors."

William Harbeson, 82, of Boonton, was released by a federal judge in Newark on $100,000 unsecured bond, with conditions, after being charged by agents from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Homeland Security Investigations New Jersey Division.

A 46-year-old Morris County woman was accused of starting a fire that destroyed a home and killed a cat for insurance purposes, authorities announced Tuesday.
Pamela Hankin, of Boonton, was charged with aggravated arson, insurance fraud, endangerment, and animal cruelty, Morris County Prosecutor Robert J.
