An SUV crashed into a utility pole in Monmouth County, shutting down a road and knocking out power, authorities said. In a Facebook post, Wall Township police said a vehicle hit the pole along Hospital Road at around 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, Apr. 25. No injuries were reported in the crash. Foul play was not suspected after human remains were found at a Jersey Shore construction site, authorities said. More than 2,000 customers were without power in Monmouth County, officials said. According to the outage map for Jersey Central Power & Light, 1,172 customers in Wall Township and 920 customers in Belmar lost service as of 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Apr. 16. Neptune Man Found With Crack Cocaine During Wall Township Traffic Stop: Police
A Monmouth County man was accused of having crack cocaine during a traffic stop, authorities said. Wall Township police arrested 45-year-old Donny Reevey of Neptune at around 1 a.m. on Tuesday, Mar. 19, the department said in a Facebook post. Reevey's arrest came after he was stopped for traffic violations on Route 35 near New Bedford Road.
