Man Barricades Himself In Central Jersey Home A special response team was able to assist a man who was barricaded inside his home, authorities said. The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office Special Operations Response Team (SORT) assisted with negotiations during an incident on Nicholas Avenue in Monroe on Sunday, July 10. Monroe Police Department responded to Nicholas Avenue after a report of a man being barricaded in his home.
