A 26-year-old driver from Union County has been charged with vehicular homicide in a Sayreville crash that killed one of his passengers, authorities said. Brandon Witkowski, of Elizabeth, was charged Thursday, April 18, in the Route 35 crash that killed Zion Jackson, 24, of Keansburg, last fall, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone. A Monmouth County man was sentenced to more than a decade in prison after admitting to having several types of drugs, equipment to distribute them, and an illegal gun, authorities said. A 29-year-old Monmouth County father was killed in a motorcycle crash, according to a fundraiser campaign. According to a GoFundMe page, Tyler Martin of Keansburg died from the injuries he suffered when his motorcycle crashed in Holmdel on Saturday, Feb. 10. Two men were sentenced to prison time for their roles in what prosecutors called an "execution-style" double murder of a young man and woman in Neptune Township nearly two years ago. Gabriel Braithwaite, 21, of Keansburg was sentenced to 40 years in state prison on Friday, Jan. 5, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago announced. A New Jersey man named Kevin Bacon has been arrested after police say he beat his ex-girlfriend to death. A Keansburg man has been sentenced to eight years in New Jersey State Prison for being in possession of large caches of child pornography, authorities said.
