Jumper's Body Recovered Near Driscoll Bridge Along Garden State Parkway: Njsp The body of a man who jumped off the Garden State Parkway's Driscoll Bridge was recovered from the Raritan River, authorities said. Troopers were advised of a motorist stopped on the parkway northbound at MP 127.5 in Woodbridge at 6:55 a.m. Monday, July 31, New Jersey State Police said. As police arrived, a man exited the vehicle and jumped over the side of the bridge, State Police said. Perth Amboy Police Department Marine Unit arrived and recovered the man who was pronounced dead, police said.

Marine Crews Recover Parkway Jumper's Body From River Marine rescue crews on Sunday recovered the body of a man who jumped from the Garden State Parkway into the Raritan River. New Jersey State Police troopers responded to the Driscoll Bridge on reports of a suicidal male who jumped around 11:30 a.m., Sgt. Lawrence Peele said. Rescue crews had recovered the unidentified body in the Raritan River near Cornucopia Princess Cruise Lines around 12:30 p.m., unconfirmed reports say. The man was pronounced dead at 12:38 p.m., Peele said. His identity was not immediately released.

Driver In Sports Car Stolen From Spring Lake Driveway Led Police In Parkway Pursuit Police chased a white sports car that was reported stolen early Friday in Monmouth County. A car reported stolen out in Spring Lake was spotted about 2 a.m. The suspects were attempting to enter unlocked cars parked in Holmdel driveways, police said. A stolen white sports car was spotted by police on Cross Run Road near Huntley Road.  When Holmdel police attempted to stop the car, its driver fled.
