More Than 2K Customers Lose Power In Wall Township, Belmar More than 2,000 customers were without power in Monmouth County, officials said. According to the outage map for Jersey Central Power & Light, 1,172 customers in Wall Township and 920 customers in Belmar lost service as of 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Apr. 16. That accounts for about 20 percent of Belmar customers and about nine percent of Wall customers. In a Facebook post, Belmar police said a JCP&L crew was responding to the outage.
