Crash Partially Closes I-78 In Somerset County A crash partially closed Interstate 78 in Somerset County, authorities said. New Jersey State troopers responded at 10:41 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5 to a crash on Interstate 78 west at milepost 27, in Bedminster, a State Police spokesman said. Based on a preliminary investigation two vehicles were traveling west when one vehicle lost directional control striking the other vehicle, he said. There were no injuries reported. Gonzalez-Genchi, of Somerset, was in the roadway on the southbound side when he was struck by a Mazda passenger car near milepost 22.4 around 4:20 a.m., New Jersey State Police Trooper Charles Marchan said. Gonzalez-Genchi was pronounced dead at the scene in Bedminster. The crash remains under investigation and there was no additional information available.

The facility’s clubhouse and gym, as well as its restaurants, are closed until further notice, General Manager David Schutzenhofer told the Washington Post. Murphy’s measures include limiting restaurants to take-out, delivery or drive-thru options and restricting gatherings of more than 50 people.
