NJ's Newest Chick-fil-A Sets Opening Date New Jersey is getting a new Chick-fil-A. The popular fried chicken chain, Chick-fil-A West Pond, is coming to Route 9 in Woodbridge, on Thursday, Sept. 7. Chick-fil-A, Inc. has selected Amanda Halligan as the independent franchised Owner/Operator of the restaurant. Chick-fil-A West Pond will be open for dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out and third-party delivery from 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Serious Crash, Tractor-Trailer Fire Reported In Central Jersey There was a serious crash in Central Jersey, authorities said. A tractor-trailer also was reported on fire at the location of the crash, they said. The crash occurred at about 12:40 p.m. on Monday, May 1 on Route 440 in Woodbridge, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation. The crash occurred in the northbound lanes south of Route 9 and the Garden State Parkway, the DOT said. An unconfirmed report said there was a fatality. CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES
