Madison Alfano of Staten Island, NY, lost control of her car and hit the driver's side of another vehicle on the northbound side of the Garden State Parkway in Sayreville around 7:50 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, New Jersey State Police  Trooper Troy McNair said. Colts Neck Football Lineman, Parents Die In Route 9 Crash Three family members have died as a result of a weekend crash on Route 9, authorities said.  Masoud B. Salib, 61, and his wife, Hanaa I. Salib, 52, died on Sunday, July 3, while their son, Mark M. Salib — a former Colts Neck football lineman — died on Tuesday, July 5, the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office said. The Salibs are survived by another son, Danny. First Responders Called In Separate Route 9 Woodbridge Crashes Police, firefighters and EMS crews responded to two separate Route 9 crashes, authorities said. The first crash reportedly involved a pedestrian about 6:30 a.m. Saturday at Routes 1 and 9 southbound south of Randolph Avenue, according to initial reports.  That victim was taken to Robert Wood University Hospital in New Brunswick. A second crash was reported on Route 9 near Green Street about 9:30 a.m., reports said. An unconfirmed report said that collision was head-on.
